We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Exercise Class Instructor to join our team at Metro Physical & Aquatic Therapy. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for leading fitness classes for seniors at our partnered Assisted Living Facilities and outpatient clinics.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and deliver safe, engaging, and educational fitness programs for seniors
  • Collaborate with our team to develop and implement wellness initiatives
  • Participate in specialty wellness classes as requested by our facilities
  • Maintain a safe and clean working environment
Requirements:
  • Group Fitness Instructor or Group Personal Training Certification
  • CPR, AED, and Liability Insurance
  • Valid NYS Driver's License
  • Knowledge of exercise techniques and prior experience in fitness instruction
Physical Requirements:

The successful candidate will be able to frequently walk, stand, sit, use hands to handle objects, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl, and talk or hear. Regular lifting and/or moving up to 40 pounds is also required.

We offer a competitive hourly rate of $30-$34 per hour and a dynamic work environment. If you are passionate about fitness and working with seniors, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
