We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced part-time Exercise Class Instructor to join our team. The successful candidate will have a strong passion for fitness and a desire to make a positive impact on the lives of our patients and clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and deliver safe and engaging fitness classes for active older adults in our outpatient clinics and partnered Assisted Living Facilities.
  • Collaborate with our therapy team to develop and implement wellness programs that meet the unique needs of our patients and clients.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and support to our patients, clients, and facility staff.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports as required.

Requirements:

  • Group Fitness Instructor or Group Personal Training Certification.
  • CPR, AED, and Liability Insurance.
  • Valid NYS Driver's License.
  • Knowledge of exercise techniques and prior experience in fitness instruction.
  • Ability to lead and motivate groups.

Physical Requirements:

The staff member is frequently required to walk, stand, sit, use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl, and talk or hear. The staff member can regularly lift and/or move up to 40 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, and depth perception.
