The Y of Central Maryland is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Academic Coordinator to lead our school partnerships program. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing research-based curriculum that promotes academic achievement and a love of learning among school-age children.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of teachers in developing and implementing lesson plans that meet the individual needs of youth and align with the overall goals of our programs.
  • Prepare and submit lesson plans that demonstrate a deep understanding of the needs of our students and the community we serve.
  • Collaborate with school administrators and other stakeholders to ensure the success of our programs.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with community partners to support the growth and development of our programs.
  • Monitor and evaluate program effectiveness, making data-driven decisions to improve outcomes.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field.
  • Current teacher certification.
  • Proven experience in leading a classroom and developing curriculum.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
