Summer Analyst Program for Investment Professionals

The Wisconsin Foundation and Alumni Association is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our Summer Analyst Intern Program. As an investment analyst intern, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in investment analysis, portfolio management, and financial modeling.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct qualitative and quantitative analysis of investment opportunities, including due diligence and ongoing manager monitoring.
- Meet with investment managers, external references, and business executives to gather information and insights.
- Draft reports detailing investment recommendations and actions.
- Provide quantitative analysis, including financial modeling, for proposed investments.
- Conduct thematic research within potential new asset classes and investment strategies.
- Assist in the preparation of investment committee materials.
- Curiosity about investing, business models, and portfolio construction.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, take initiative, and understand priorities.
- Professional integrity and discretion in handling confidential information.
- Ability to interact with business executives and appropriately represent WFAA.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office products, especially Excel.
