This role is responsible for managing maintenance and engineering projects to ensure the efficient and safe operation of the chemical processing and production facilities at the Watertown Wi manufacturing site.
The incumbent will provide maintenance and engineering expertise, as well as hands-on management practices, to ensure consistent and best-practice production facilities.
This position will also actively participate in Manufacturing Excellence initiatives, including assessment audits and corrective action plans.
The ideal candidate will have strong engineering, problem-solving, and fabrication skills, as well as experience in managing maintenance staff and facilities.
Key Responsibilities- Support the continuous improvement programs in manufacturing operations
- Manage through production downtime issues with speed to ensure the least amount of production downtime
- Ensure engineering needs of plant facility and production are met and that continual improvement in efficiencies and safety are developed
- Manage maintenance staff and the needs of the Watertown Wi manufacturing facility
- Manage the service vendors at the Watertown Wi
- Manage projects for the Plant Manager as well as Global Management within Solenis
- Responsible for writing, quoting, presenting capital projects to Solenis leadership with the Plant Manager
- Responsible for managing, improving Maintenance CMMS
- Responsible for supporting installation, ramp up and training plans for new production lines, and operations team
- Responsible for establishing, formulating SOPs for Maintenance team members
- Responsible for supporting a Safety-First Culture, helping to expand upon it
- Minimum Education Required: BS/BA with core competency in engineering or similar area
- Minimum Experience required: 2+ years of management experience preferably in a related industry. In addition, 7+ years of manufacturing experience in Maintenance or Engineering
- Additional Qualifications:
