Clinical Development Specialist

Solventum is seeking a highly skilled Clinical Development Specialist to join our team. As a Clinical Development Specialist, you will play a vital role in the development and implementation of clinical methodologies and payment systems for healthcare providers.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and maintain clinical methodologies and payment systems for healthcare providers
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of clinical methodologies and payment systems
- Provide subject matter expertise on clinical content development, specification, documentation, validation, and application of software modules
- Align EAPG and IR-DRG outpatient, as well as inpatient patient classification, procedure classification, inpatient payment, and regulatory update processes
- Work directly with the Chief Product Owner, Product Owners, Research team, and government agencies to drive enhancements to the methodologies
- Bachelor's Degree or higher in a related field
- 4+ years of experience in clinical development, payment systems, or a related field
- Strong knowledge of patient classification research and development, including inpatient and outpatient payment and risk adjustment
- Experience with healthcare data, coding, billing, editing, and payment, particularly for patient claims and HIPAA requirements
- Ability to effectively communicate ideas, concepts, and information, presenting and training of clinical concepts, coding systems, and underlying design of patient classification methodologies in healthcare
