At New England Donor Services, we are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Response Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in saving lives through organ and tissue donation.
Job Summary:The Clinical Response Specialist will provide on-site responses to area hospitals to conduct medical evaluations on potential organ donors and develop plans with healthcare teams to maintain the option of donation. This role requires strong communication and collaboration skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct medical evaluations on potential organ donors and develop plans with healthcare teams to maintain the option of donation.
- Provide on-site assistance to other NEDS staff as needed.
- Participate in hospital educational and outreach activities as needed.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
- Develop and maintain relationships with healthcare professionals and other stakeholders.
- Bachelor's degree in Health Sciences or related field.
- 2+ years of experience in emergency or critical care in a healthcare setting or hospital.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Valid driver's license and good driving record.
