- Overseeing, reviewing, and effectively communicating the outcomes of geotechnical engineering analyses, construction RFIs, cost estimations, design documentation, and technical specifications.
- Projects will vary significantly but often involve development, remediation, and restoration efforts in nearshore and offshore environments, thus prior experience in these areas is advantageous.
- Additional responsibilities include:
  • Planning, strategizing, and preparing geotechnical field programs and design-related evaluations.
  • Mentoring and guiding staff engaged in construction management during project execution.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

The ideal candidate will possess:
  • A Professional Engineer (PE) license with a degree in Civil Engineering and 20+ years of progressive geotechnical engineering experience.
  • A strong interest in cross-selling multi-disciplinary services and an entrepreneurial mindset for business growth.
  • Experience or interest in in-water, nearshore, and upland sites, including planning and executing field sampling and investigation programs, data analysis, feasibility studies, and geotechnical design.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally to project sites and client meetings across Texas and potentially beyond.
