Clinical Mental Health Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated Clinical Mental Health Specialist to join our team at Mass General Brigham in Cambridge, Massachusetts.
The successful candidate will work as part of a multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality patient care and support individuals with mental health needs.
Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care and participate in therapeutic milieu under the direction of a Registered Nurse.
- Establish therapeutic relationships with patients, maintain professional boundaries, and communicate effectively with colleagues and management.
- Contribute to patient rounds or teams, complete patient care assignments, and identify patient behaviors that contribute to crisis situations.
- Intervene in managing complex patient situations and utilize department policies and procedures to promote the least restrictive alternatives.
- A High School diploma or GED is required, with preference given to candidates with two years of college plus one year of clinical experience, preferably in a psychiatric setting.
- Licensure: N/A
- Skills: Verbal and written communication skills, ability to work in collaboration with others, and previous experience in direct patient care preferred.
- Estimated salary for this role is $70,000 - $80,000 per year, based on industry standards and location.
