Job Summary

The Office Assistant (OA) in Health Information Management (HIM) is a vital role that requires a high level of organization, attention to detail, and effective communication skills. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing a wide range of clerical duties, including document review, scanning, filing, and typing.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review and process medical records, ensuring accuracy and completeness
  • Scan and file documents in a secure and efficient manner
  • Provide administrative support to the Health Record Technician team
  • Perform other related duties as assigned
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • One year of experience in a similar role, preferably in a healthcare setting
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Basic computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office
