We serve a vibrant community in New York City, offering a wide range of psychiatric services to individuals and families from all backgrounds across our 4 adult inpatient psychiatric units, 1 Adolescent inpatient psychiatric unit, our psychiatric emergency department, our substance use disorder services and robust adult and child ambulatory programs that deliver in-person and telehealth services.
Our multidisciplinary team is dedicated to innovation and excellence, providing a supportive environment for both patients and staff. The hospital has a psychiatry residency program and maintains a strong academic affiliation with New York Medical College to continue its high standards of healthcare delivery, and to provide its staff with teaching and research opportunities.
Responsibilities- Examine patients, order or perform appropriate diagnostic tests.
- Formulate diagnosis, direct or perform appropriate therapeutic treatment and counsel patients.
- Provide guidance and participate in the teaching of house staff, in staff conferences, and in research projects as directed.
- Advise less experienced members of the professional medical staff.
- Plan, organize and direct the operation of a major segment within a medical service or medical program in a hospital or similar health facility; or assist the Chief of Service in the planning, organizing and directing of the entire medical service or medical program.
- Assist in the administration and coordination of the service.
- Assist in the establishment and maintenance of standards of performance for physicians and other professional employees working in the service.
- Perform other administrative, professional, consultative duties as needed by the Chief of Service.
- Must be board-eligible or board-certified in Psychiatry.
- M.D. or D.O. from an accredited school of medicine.
- Completed residency training in an accredited program within Psychiatry.
- NYS License.
- Competitive compensation package.

- Annual Base Salary Range: $236,900 - $247,200.
