Psychiatrist - Inpatient Specialist

Physician Affiliate Group of New York (PAGNY) is seeking highly skilled Inpatient Psychiatrists to join our team at NYC Health + Hospitals/Metropolitan. Our Department of Psychiatry is dedicated to providing compassionate and comprehensive mental health services in a dynamic and diverse urban setting. Responsibilities- Examine patients, order or perform diagnostic tests, and formulate diagnoses.
- Direct or perform therapeutic treatment and counsel patients.
- Provide guidance and participate in teaching house staff, staff conferences, and research projects.
- Advise less experienced members of the professional medical staff.
- Plan, organize, and direct the operation of a major segment within a medical service or medical program.
- Assist in the administration and coordination of the service.
- Establish and maintain standards of performance for physicians and other professional employees.
- Board-eligible or board-certified in Psychiatry.
- M.D. or D.O. from an accredited school of medicine.
- Completed residency training in an accredited program within Psychiatry.
- NYS License.
