Join Our Team as an Inpatient Psychiatrist

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Inpatient Psychiatrist to join our team at NYC Health + Hospitals/Metropolitan. As a member of our multidisciplinary team, you will provide high-quality patient care and contribute to the development of innovative mental health services in a dynamic and diverse urban setting.

About the Role

As an Inpatient Psychiatrist, you will be responsible for examining patients, ordering diagnostic tests, formulating diagnoses, and directing therapeutic treatment. You will also provide guidance and participate in the teaching of house staff, staff conferences, and research projects. Additionally, you will assist in the administration and coordination of the service and establish standards of performance for physicians and other professional employees.

Qualifications
  • Board-eligible or board-certified in Psychiatry
  • M.D. or D.O. from an accredited school of medicine
  • Completed residency training in an accredited program within Psychiatry
  • NYS License
