Salary and Benefits

The successful candidate can expect a competitive salary commensurate with experience, ranging from $120,000 to $180,000 per annum. Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and talented Senior General Liability Attorney to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in insurance defense, general liability, and commercial litigation. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney who is passionate about litigation and eager to work on complex and high-profile cases.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Represent clients in a wide range of general liability matters, including personal injury, property damage, and premises liability cases.
  2. Draft pleadings, motions, and discovery requests, and respond to opposing counsel's motions and discovery requests.
  3. Conduct depositions and participate in pre-trial proceedings.
  4. Manage a caseload of general liability matters from inception to resolution.
  5. Advise clients on risk management and potential liability exposure.
  6. Negotiate settlements and assist with trial preparation.
Qualifications and Requirements

To be considered for this role, applicants must possess:

  • A Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the Virginia Bar.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in general liability or insurance defense litigation.
  • Strong research, writing, and communication skills.
  • The ability to manage a caseload and work independently.

Preferred qualifications include proven experience with depositions, court appearances, and trial preparation, as well as excellent problem-solving skills and a keen attention to detail.
