Restaurant Manager Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Restaurant Manager to join our team at Gecko Hospitality. As a Restaurant Manager, you will play a key role in the daily operations of our restaurant, working closely with the General Manager to ensure the success of our business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operational Excellence: Provide support to the General Manager in maintaining high standards of customer service, food quality, and restaurant cleanliness.
  • Team Leadership: Manage and develop a team of restaurant staff, including scheduling, training, and performance management.
  • Inventory Management: Oversee inventory levels, manage stock, and monitor food supplies to ensure efficient operations.
  • Financial Management: Assist with financial planning, budgeting, and cost control to ensure the restaurant's financial health.
  • Customer Satisfaction: Foster a positive customer experience, responding to feedback and concerns in a timely and professional manner.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years' experience as a Restaurant Manager in a high-volume environment.
  • Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and develop a team, with a passion for mentoring and coaching.
  • Business Acumen: Strong understanding of restaurant operations, financial management, and customer service principles.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with staff, customers, and vendors.
