Operations Excellence Manager

Oversee and manage the operational activities essential for fulfilling contractual obligations between SBM and its clients, which includes comprehensive planning, oversight, budgeting, vendor relations, customer engagement, and other senior-level managerial duties.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the overall strategy, coordination, and assessment of the account.
  • Assist in the formulation and organization of work schedules to guarantee service delivery.
  • Evaluate and assess the physical state of the facility to ensure safety and quality standards.
  • Conduct audits and manage inventory, supplies, and equipment.
  • May take on responsibilities related to compliance within the organization.
  • Investigate and advocate for enhanced equipment and operational methods.
  • Review customer service inquiries to ensure quality and prioritization.
  • Analyze and manage budgets to pinpoint areas for cost reduction and enhancement.
  • Ensure the site consistently meets budgetary objectives.
  • Contribute to the development of new markets, expanding market presence, and securing a competitive edge in the sector.
  • Coordinate program specifications and requirements for prospective proposals and contracts.
  • Assist in preparing and maintaining reports on all financial aspects of the operation, including forecasting and trend analysis.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards at local, state, and federal levels.
  • Act as a liaison among the company, clients, employees, and subcontractors.
  • Facilitate meetings to ensure consistent, timely, and effective communication across all business levels.
  • May assume management responsibilities when necessary.
  • Some travel may be required for this role.

Qualifications:

  • A.A. Degree in Business Management or a related field with a minimum of 2 years of experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • CPR/AED/First Aid certification is advantageous.
  • Bilingual capabilities are a plus.
  • A valid driver's license may be required.
  • Completion of all safety and task training certifications is necessary.
  • Forklift certification may be required.
  • Ability to read and interpret instructions, procedures, manuals, and other documentation.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential.
  • Familiarity with cleaning methods and equipment, with a willingness to share knowledge with the team.
  • Understanding of the maintenance and care of cleaning equipment.
  • Knowledge of cleaning agents and chemicals, along with their safe and efficient usage.
  • Skills in customer service, problem-solving, time management, project management, planning, communication, presentation, interviewing, coaching, and training.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general computer skills.
  • Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers and regulatory agencies.
  • Capability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, employees, and the general public.

Compensation: $115,000 - $120,000 per year

Shift: Various shifts
