Key Responsibilities:

  • Technical Leadership: Provide technical leadership and support to the site's 24/7 operations regarding safety and process control systems, process instrumentation, DCS, and PLCs.
  • Troubleshooting: Utilize technical knowledge and data analysis skills to troubleshoot process control systems and identify continuous improvement opportunities on control and electrical systems.
  • Project Management: Manage installation and startup of instrumentation and automation projects, including capital projects, to satisfy projects' functional, budgetary, and timeline requirements.
  • Collaboration: Work with other engineering disciplines to provide instrumentation and automation support for broader mechanical and chemical projects.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: At least 7 years' experience working in an industrial manufacturing or chemical process environment.
  • Technical Skills: Experience with variable frequency drives, PLC programming, and HMI programming, as well as process instrumentation in an industrial environment.
  • Knowledge: Experience reading and interpreting P&IDs and electrical drawings.
