About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Insurance Risk Manager to join our team at Linde. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for managing complex corporate activities and mitigating risk.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage workers' compensation and auto liability claims processes, including internal communications and coordination with third-party administrators.
  • Negotiate policy contracts and commercial content with brokers and insurers, and participate in internal teams related to commercial contract discussions.
  • Support daily department operations, including third-party service provider selection, negotiations, and contract development, budget preparation, cost management, allocation, and invoicing.
  • Interface with third-party service providers, internal tax, legal, and procurement professionals, and management, finance colleagues in business units tasked with local insurance responsibility.
Requirements
  • Professional experience in managing complex, multi-disciplinary corporate activities, gained with an insurer, broker, or multinational corporate.
  • Demonstrated experience in advising and communicating with non-finance professionals to effectively educate and inform colleagues on financial programs.
  • Proven intercultural sensitivity and experience in mediating between different interests and at various hierarchy levels.
  • Strong analytical skills to use data to underpin decision making.
  • Ability to summarize and communicate in a differentiated, clear, and concise manner with a variety of audiences.
  • Strong relationship-building skills with business customers, consultants, and suppliers.
  • Financial acumen and negotiation skills.
