We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Engineer to join our team at Aimbridge Hospitality. As a key member of our operations, you will be responsible for ensuring that our facilities are well-maintained and running smoothly. This includes participating in the preventative maintenance program, handling guest requests, and performing trade jobs such as carpentry, painting, plumbing, and HVAC.

About the Job

This is a full-time position, and you will be working 40 hours per week. You will be based at our Hyatt Place Charlotte Airport/Tyvola Road hotel, but may be required to travel to other locations within the region. You will report directly to the Hotel Manager and will work closely with other members of the operations team.

Responsibilities
  • Assist with the operation, maintenance, and repair of equipment
  • Participate in the preventative maintenance program
  • Handle guest requests and work orders
  • Perform trade jobs such as carpentry, painting, plumbing, and HVAC
  • Change out light bulbs and perform preventative maintenance for guest rooms
  • Perform plumbing repair, laundry equipment repair, and preventative maintenance on all exhaust fans and supply
Requirements
  • Experience in a hotel or related field preferred
  • High School diploma or equivalent required
  • Licensed in a trade preferred (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, etc.)
  • Must have a valid driver's license for the applicable state
  • Must have an acceptable MVR (Motor Vehicle Driving Record)
