Role Summary
The Clinical Nursing Intern is responsible for delivering high-quality, patient-focused care by performing a range of basic nursing tasks and assisting with daily living activities.

Under the guidance of a registered nurse (RN), the intern will support the nursing team in providing care that aligns with their training and the needs of the department, while also helping to maintain a clean and safe environment for patients.

Key Responsibilities
- Demonstrate the necessary knowledge and skills to provide appropriate care for the patient populations served.
- Communicate relevant information to the appropriate healthcare team members.
- Deliver compassionate and holistic care, respecting the rights and dignity of all patients.
- Accurately document patient care activities in the designated systems.
- Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) as assigned.

Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Enrollment in an accredited nursing program, in good academic standing.
- Eligibility to serve as a Clinical Nursing Intern after completing the first semester of nursing education or as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in the initial semester of the RN program.
