Key Responsibilities:

  • Direct and oversee the comprehensive implementation of IBM Maximo MAS throughout the organization.
  • Create and sustain the program roadmap, ensuring it aligns with overarching business objectives.
  • Manage multiple IT workstreams, including asset management, work management, procurement, and inventory.
  • Act as the main liaison for the integration partner and other external vendors.
  • Guarantee that the third-party vendor fulfills all contractual commitments, deliverables, and timelines.
  • Coordinate with the integration partner to effectively manage resources, budgets, and schedules.
  • Engage with key stakeholders across the utilities sector, including operations, finance, and IT.
  • Facilitate regular updates and reporting to senior leadership regarding program status, risks, and challenges.
  • Ensure stakeholder expectations are aligned with the program's objectives.
  • Identify, evaluate, and manage risks and issues throughout the program lifecycle.
  • Develop and implement strategies to mitigate potential risks that could affect project success.
  • Maintain a risk register and provide consistent updates to stakeholders.
  • Oversee the program budget, ensuring accurate tracking and reporting of all expenses.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and the integration partner to allocate resources efficiently.
  • Conduct regular assessments and audits to ensure deliverables meet quality standards.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards.
  • Lead change management initiatives to facilitate the smooth adoption of IBM Maximo MAS.
  • Design training programs and materials to support user adoption.
  • Monitor post-implementation performance and address any change-related issues.
  • Provide ongoing updates to executive leadership and the project steering committee.
  • Ensure all project documentation is organized and managed according to company policies.

Qualifications:

  • 8-10 years of experience in IT Project/Program management, with a minimum of 3 years managing large-scale enterprise implementations in the public or utilities sector.
  • Demonstrated experience with IBM Maximo MAS, particularly in asset management, work management, procurement, and inventory.
  • Strong understanding of utilities industry processes and regulatory frameworks.
  • Experience in managing third-party vendors and integration partners.
  • Exceptional leadership and team management capabilities, with a talent for motivating cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of conveying complex information to diverse audiences.
  • Outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills, focused on delivering solutions that meet business needs.

Travel Requirements:

  • This role may involve occasional travel to project sites (up to 20%).
