We are looking for a seasoned Program Manager to spearhead the deployment of the IBM Maximo Application Suite (MAS) within our utilities operations. The Program Manager will ensure the project achieves its goals concerning asset management, work management, and other critical modules while adhering to industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Direct and oversee the comprehensive implementation of IBM Maximo MAS throughout the organization.
- Create and sustain the program roadmap, ensuring it aligns with overarching business objectives.
- Manage multiple IT workstreams, including asset management, work management, procurement, and inventory.
- Act as the main liaison for the integration partner and other external vendors.
- Guarantee that the third-party vendor fulfills all contractual commitments, deliverables, and timelines.
- Coordinate with the integration partner to effectively manage resources, budgets, and schedules.
- Engage with key stakeholders across the utilities sector, including operations, finance, and IT.
- Facilitate regular updates and reporting to senior leadership regarding program status, risks, and challenges.
- Ensure stakeholder expectations are aligned with the program's objectives.
- Identify, evaluate, and manage risks and issues throughout the program lifecycle.
- Develop and implement strategies to mitigate potential risks that could affect project success.
- Maintain a risk register and provide consistent updates to stakeholders.
- Oversee the program budget, ensuring accurate tracking and reporting of all expenses.
- Collaborate with internal teams and the integration partner to allocate resources efficiently.
- Conduct regular assessments and audits to ensure deliverables meet quality standards.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards.
- Lead change management initiatives to facilitate the smooth adoption of IBM Maximo MAS.
- Design training programs and materials to support user adoption.
- Monitor post-implementation performance and address any change-related issues.
- Provide ongoing updates to executive leadership and the project steering committee.
- Ensure all project documentation is organized and managed according to company policies.
Qualifications:
- 8-10 years of experience in IT Project/Program management, with a minimum of 3 years managing large-scale enterprise implementations in the public or utilities sector.
- Demonstrated experience with IBM Maximo MAS, particularly in asset management, work management, procurement, and inventory.
- Strong understanding of utilities industry processes and regulatory frameworks.
- Experience in managing third-party vendors and integration partners.
- Exceptional leadership and team management capabilities, with a talent for motivating cross-functional teams.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of conveying complex information to diverse audiences.
- Outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills, focused on delivering solutions that meet business needs.
Travel Requirements:
- This role may involve occasional travel to project sites (up to 20%).
