Immediate W2 contract position available.

Estimated Duration: 11+ months

Job Description:

· This position is responsible for professional level planning and coordinating large scale projects with minimal supervision and in compliance with EN procedures and standard processes.

· The project manager provides oversight of the staff involved in planning, leading, controlling and monitoring to ensure that work is implemented safely, with quality, on schedule, and within budget.

· Resolves high risk decisions to manage the Agency's risk, resolves enterprise resource issues related to the projects, and develops Agency policies to define regulatory compliance.

· Develops the budgets, including tracking cost versus budget for assigned projects.

· Assures proper progress and focus through frequent interface with the client, engineers, related parties, and management.

· Acts as primary customer interface to develop specific hardware and software configuration requirements necessary to meet utility customer's needs.

· Provides advanced technical assistance in resolving IT related problems involving hardware, software and system compatibility conflicts and malfunctions, application operations, connectivity, network, and security issues.

· This position is responsible for meeting or exceeding user expectations and IT level of service commitments.

· Maintains the ESD support laptop computers.

· Loads appropriate software and tools for customer engagements.

· Re-images laptop to standard image as needed to be ready for the next engagement.

· Supports customer computers and laptops as necessary.

Job Responsibilities:

· The project manager provides oversight of the staff involved in planning, leading, controlling and monitoring to ensure that work is implemented safely, with quality, on schedule, and within budget.

· Develops the budgets, including tracking cost versus budget for assigned projects.

· Assures proper progress and focus through frequent interface with the client, engineers, related parties, and management.

· Develops and manages contracts and interfaces with vendors.

· Prepares and delivers written and oral communications to various groups including senior management.

· Develops and maintains long range plan strategies associated with assigned projects.

· Supports effective implementation of the company Self-Assessment and Corrective Action Programs.

· Directs, coaches and mentors lower-level Project Managers.

· Participates on the Emergency Response team (ERO) when designated.

· Acts as technical program expert in one or more highly specialized areas of Cyber Security.

· Provides technical input and advice on medium to large information technology projects.

· Devises or modifies processes and procedures to solve complex problems considering resources, budgets, and schedule constraints.

· Develops broad and/or specialized program oversight plans by providing functional planning and high-level technical expertise and guidance.

· Provides consulting services to customer organizations on information technology's capability to comply with IS regulatory cyber programs in the deployment of technology to improve work processes and resolve business problems.

· Provides quality input and documentation reviews created by cross-discipline work groups in compliance with the overall program requirements and regulations.

· Coordinates programs changes, assessments and other audit processes, and training with impacted customers.

Educational Requirements:

Requires a Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in a technology or business discipline and 10 years of nuclear plant experience (with at least 5 of these years of experience in a core nuclear department – Operations, Engineering, Maintenance, Training)

OR

Associate's degree from an accredited college or university and 12 years of nuclear plant experience (with at least 5 of these years of experience in a core nuclear department – Operations, Engineering, Maintenance, Training)

OR

In lieu of degree, 14 years of nuclear plant experience (with at least 5 of these years of experience in a core nuclear department – Operations, Engineering, Maintenance, Training). A high school diploma or GED is required.

Desired Skills and Experience:

· Project management and budget process software.

· Evaluating organizational, personal, technical, and effective maintenance programs, procedures, schedules, and cost performance.

· Code and regulatory requirements as they relate to nuclear facilities.

· Skilled in software programs such as Asset Suite and MS Office programs.

Required Skills:

· Knowledge of planning, scheduling, estimating, work management systems.

· Knowledge of and ability to apply management practices leading to the optimization of available resources.

· Knowledge of basic project management techniques. Leadership skills using appropriate interpersonal styles and methods to guide and coordinate individuals and groups to achieve successful results.

· Ability to exercise sound judgment, weighing alternative courses of action and making decisions that are based on factual information and rational assumptions, taking organization resources into consideration.

· Demonstrated ability in planning and organizational skills.

· Strong verbal and written communication skills.

· Must establish goals, set priorities, and maintain an awareness of interrelationships among activities.

· Possess strong project management skills and abilities, including leading projects and initiatives.

· Ability to develop cost to benefit analysis in support of major maintenance project or Program options.

· Ability to apply applicable technical specifications, code requirements, and standards.

· Ability to direct, coach and mentor lower-level Project Managers.

· Ability to develop or enhance project management standards, processes or procedures

Desired Skills:

· Ability to maximize performance through leadership. Strong problem solving and analytical skills.

· Report writing and trending skills. Ability to interact and present to senior executives and management.

· Experience with C#, ASP.NET, .NET Core, and database management systems is a plus.
