Key Responsibilities- Financial Statement Preparation: Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, to ensure accuracy and compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- General Ledger Management: Maintain the general ledger, including account reconciliations, journal entries, and financial reporting.
- Financial Analysis and Reporting: Analyze financial data, identify trends, and provide insights to senior leadership to inform business decisions.
- Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with financial regulations, laws, and internal controls to mitigate risk and protect the organization's assets.
- Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including finance, accounting, and operations, to ensure seamless financial operations and effective communication of financial information.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Experience: At least four years of progressive responsibility in accounting or finance, with a strong background in financial statement preparation, general ledger management, and financial analysis.
- Skills: Thorough knowledge of GAAP, accounting, finance, and financial control principles; excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills; proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
