Key Responsibilities- Assessment and Planning: Utilize the nursing process to assess patient needs, develop individualized plans of care, and implement evidence-based interventions to achieve desired patient outcomes.
- Implementation and Evaluation: Collaborate with the healthcare team to implement care plans, monitor patient progress, and evaluate the effectiveness of interventions.
- Communication and Collaboration: Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination and promote positive patient outcomes.
- Education and Training: Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices, new technologies, and emerging trends in nursing.
- Quality Improvement: Contribute to quality improvement initiatives by identifying areas for improvement, developing solutions, and implementing changes to enhance patient care and safety.
- Education: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree preferred.
- Experience: One to three years of recent experience as a Registered Nurse, with experience in orthopedic, neurosurgical, or pain management specialties preferred.
- Certifications: Current Louisiana State License as a Registered Nurse and current BLS, CPR certification required.
