Job Summary:
The Vollrath Company is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales and Business Development Manager to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for achieving sales goals, building strong relationships with customers, and driving business growth.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve or exceed sales targets within assigned portfolio.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, including dealer/distributor salespeople and buyers.
- Establish brand awareness and promote Vollrath products and services to customers.
- Manage all company marketing initiatives with portfolio customers.
- Document account portfolio activities in CRM.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement co-operative marketing promotions.
- Manage all company marketing tools, including coop, promotions, Concept, Auto Quotes, Cube, and Vollrath Intranet.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree with a focus on sales and business functions preferred.
- Minimum three years' experience in a sales role within the foodservice industry.
- Past experience working with both equipment and smallwares items within the foodservice industry preferred.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to set goals and develop and carry out plans to achieve them.
- Proactive approach to problem solving, work independently, and take initiative.
- Proficiency in Microsoft programs, including Word, Dynamics, PowerPoint, PowerBI, and Excel.
Working Conditions:
- Overnights and non-traditional workdays may be required. Weekends and evenings may be required in some instances.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- No supervisory responsibilities.
