Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve or exceed sales targets within assigned portfolio.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, including dealer/distributor salespeople and buyers.
  • Establish brand awareness and promote Vollrath products and services to customers.
  • Manage all company marketing initiatives with portfolio customers.
  • Document account portfolio activities in CRM.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement co-operative marketing promotions.
  • Manage all company marketing tools, including coop, promotions, Concept, Auto Quotes, Cube, and Vollrath Intranet.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree with a focus on sales and business functions preferred.
  • Minimum three years' experience in a sales role within the foodservice industry.
  • Past experience working with both equipment and smallwares items within the foodservice industry preferred.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to set goals and develop and carry out plans to achieve them.
  • Proactive approach to problem solving, work independently, and take initiative.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft programs, including Word, Dynamics, PowerPoint, PowerBI, and Excel.

Working Conditions:

  • Overnights and non-traditional workdays may be required. Weekends and evenings may be required in some instances.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • No supervisory responsibilities.
