POSITION SUMMARY

As a Senior Cannabis Consultant, you will play a pivotal role in understanding the needs of our clients and guiding them in selecting the right cannabis products to fulfill their requirements. You will embody a customer-centric approach, ensuring exceptional service and high levels of client satisfaction. A successful Senior Cannabis Consultant will elevate company standards, meet sales objectives, provide insightful product recommendations, and surpass client expectations. You will inspire confidence in Terrabis and help cultivate long-term loyalty to our brand. This role also involves overseeing opening and closing procedures within the dispensary, communicating product and policy updates to team members, and supporting management in fostering a culture of learning and continuous development. You will maintain accurate records of customer identification and registration, manage customer flow, and address inquiries effectively. Additionally, you will handle the recording, arrangement, packaging, and sale of customer orders. The ideal candidate will uphold a professional appearance and maintain an organized work environment.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ensure strict inventory management to guarantee comprehensive regulatory compliance across all dispensary operations.
  • Maintain cleanliness and readiness of POS stations at store opening.
  • Complete Budtender opening and closing checklists promptly.
  • Adhere to proper cash handling procedures at all times.
  • Greet all customers upon arrival and extend farewells at their departure.
  • Deliver outstanding customer service in every interaction.
  • Notify management of any low-stock products or inventory concerns.
  • Possess in-depth knowledge of cannabis products and the industry.
  • Stay informed about all sales and promotions, including in-store deals.
  • Engage in staff events and promotional activities.
  • Read industry publications to remain updated on current and future trends.
  • Provide training and mentorship to new Budtenders under the guidance of management.
  • Ensure your uniform is presentable and that you are prepared for your scheduled shift.
  • Perform additional duties or projects as assigned by management.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 1 year of customer service experience; preference for candidates with retail or cannabis-related experience.
  • Consistent demonstration of excellent customer service skills.
  • Experience with POS systems is preferred.
  • Previous training or leadership experience is a plus.
  • Willingness to continuously learn about cannabis and related therapies.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Proficiency in standard office equipment and software.
  • Understanding of applicable laws and regulations in the cannabis industry.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Must be at least 21 years old.
  • Compliance with all legal and company regulations for working in the cannabis industry is mandatory.

WORKING CONDITIONS

This position requires regular activities such as grasping, talking, hearing, seeing, and repetitive motions.


PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Must be able to lift, carry, and balance up to 30 pounds (100 pounds with assistance), and may involve prolonged periods of sitting or standing, as well as bending and stooping.
