Customer Experience Specialist

We are looking for a Lead Customer Service Representative to join our team at NY Dog Spa and Hotel 25th Street. This role plays a critical part in delivering exceptional customer experiences and driving business growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Supports Destination Pet's mission, vision, and values.
- Sells services and products to prospective customers, showcasing the benefits of our unique approach.
- Provides detailed facility tours to showcase our state-of-the-art facilities and services.
- Receives and responds to phone calls, providing accurate information according to established procedures.
- Welcomes clients and pet guests, ensuring they have the proper vaccination records.
- Manages cash transactions, including payments for services and end-of-day balance reconciliations.
- Explains company policies to customers in a positive manner, addressing any concerns or issues promptly.
- Responds to customer complaints in a professional, courteous manner, escalating as needed.
- Ensures the appearance and cleanliness of public areas, maintaining a safe and welcoming environment.
Requirements
- High school graduate or equivalent required.
- Minimum one year experience in customer service or retail sales.
- Ability to resolve problems quickly and professionally, demonstrating strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent telephone skills, with ability to utilize multi-line phone systems and work on computer systems.
- Displays a professional demeanor at all times.
- Must be able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays, frequently lifting 40 pounds and standing, walking, and climbing stairs.
- Handles dogs on leashes and works in an environment with exposure to disinfectant/sanitation chemicals, animal dander, and excretions.
This role reports directly to the General Manager and offers a competitive salary of $16-$18.50 per hour.
