Customer Service Liaison

As a Customer Service Representative at Associated Materials, you will serve as the primary point of contact for customers, ensuring that their issues are resolved in a timely and satisfactory manner. This role requires excellent communication skills, a passion for meeting customer expectations, and a commitment to following through on commitments.
Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate customer account information and keep sales managers informed of all activities associated with each account
- Assist with customer onboarding, including initial outreach and process review
- Investigate customer issues and prepare credit memos, debit memos, and return material authorizations as needed to resolve issues in a timely manner
- Provide current pricing information and product technical details to respond to customer inquiries and recommend alternative materials or products
- Proactively build customer relationships through regular check-in calls
- Monitor orders and intervene as necessary to ensure maximum customer satisfaction
Requirements
- 3+ years of customer service experience required
- Strong communication and follow-through skills
- Ability to handle a large volume of calls and react well under pressure
- Dependable and strong sense of urgency
- Proficiency in Sales Force and AS400 is a plus
