Job Summary: We are seeking a new graduate nurse (RN) to join our SHINE Residency in the Home Health track at MaineGeneral Health. As a nurse resident, you will provide direct patient care aligned with professional standards and our organization's values, contributing to our mission of enhancing the health of our patients, families, and communities.

Job Description:

This opportunity invites you to become part of the most forward-thinking New Graduate RN Residency program in the state. Our SHINE Residency is designed to bolster your success as an integral part of our clinical team. The program includes a comprehensive 12-week orientation across various med/surg units, guided by high-performing preceptors. After this period, nurse residents will work independently on med/surg for 6 weeks, solidifying their newly developed skills before transitioning to the Home Health department to begin their specialized orientation there.

Requirements:

  • Expected graduation from an accredited Nursing school in the Winter of 2024/2025 or less than 6 months of RN experience.
  • Maine state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) or the ability to obtain it after passing the NCLEX, required.
