Job Overview

A prominent player in the industry is seeking a Senior Business Systems Analyst to contribute to the development of an advanced program scheduling application tailored for broadcast, cable, and streaming services. This role requires the candidate to operate within the Pacific Time Zone.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze their functional and technical needs to design Salesforce-based solutions.
  • Assist in identifying, documenting, and executing process enhancements across various business sectors.
  • Conduct analysis and research to support the requirements definition for high-level project scoping.
  • Prepare essential documentation including: Business Requirements Document (BRD), solution diagrams, use case lists, process flows, functional designs, wireframes, user stories, object descriptions, training materials, and guides.
  • Develop and present comprehensive requirements documentation to the broader technology team and cross-functional business partners.
  • Engage in various testing and quality assurance activities as required, collaborating with developers to ensure alignment with requirements.
  • Provide regular status updates to the user community.
  • Support user acceptance testing, change management, and user training initiatives.
  • Design a data migration strategy and prepare data mapping documentation.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or a related field with a minimum of 7 years of relevant experience.
  • In-depth understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodologies, including Agile and Waterfall.
  • Proficient in articulating concepts to management and cross-functional teams through verbal, written, and visual means.
  • Exceptional written, oral, instructional, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Experience with Salesforce applications is essential.
  • Proficient in Visual Modeling techniques (UML, DFD, Data Modeling, ER Diagrams, Activity, Sequence, Use Case Diagrams, Wireframes).
  • Hands-on experience with Confluence is preferred.
  • Strong familiarity with JIRA or similar project and issue tracking systems.
  • Demonstrated project management capabilities.
  • Scrum Master Certification is a plus.
