Route Sales Representative

We are seeking a highly skilled Route Sales Representative to join our team at Auto-Chlor System. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to grow with our company and contribute to our mission of providing top-notch water, hygiene, and infection prevention solutions to leading brands.
About the RoleThis role involves traveling to customer locations to deliver and pick up chemicals, as well as providing on-call emergency service. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills and be able to build strong relationships with customers. They will also be responsible for troubleshooting dish machine operations, up-selling and cross-selling additional products and services, and collecting customer payments.
Salary and BenefitsThe estimated salary for this position is $70-75,000 per year, based on hourly pay plus bonuses, overtime, and commission. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, and life insurance, as well as a 401(k) plan and profit-sharing opportunities. Paid vacation, holidays, and sick leave are also provided.
Responsibilities- Troubleshoot dish machine operations and correct mechanical problems.
- Up-sell and cross-sell additional products and services to customers.
- Provide on-call emergency service every 5-6 weeks.
- Collect customer payments and consistently follow-up to ensure accounts are current.
- Deliver and pick-up chemicals.
- Build rapport with decision makers.
- Resolve customer concerns.
- Train customers on proper usage of cleaners & sanitizers.
- Negotiate service agreement renewals and price increases.
- Have a valid driver's license.
- Be able to work in a fast-paced, energetic, physical position.
- Ability to safely drive a company vehicle.
- Must be able to lift and move up to 70 pounds.
- Minimum 2 years of retail sales experience preferred.
