Key Responsibilities:

  • Take charge of the care provided to patients being treated by Physical Therapist Assistants and Therapy Technicians. May also be responsible for orienting new staff and students, and fulfilling supervisory duties in the absence of the supervisor.
  • Evaluate patient needs, initiate appropriate physical therapy interventions, and collaborate with the healthcare team to uphold professional standards and interdisciplinary cooperation.
  • Monitor and assess treatment effectiveness, achieving both short-term and long-term rehabilitation goals. Recommend adjustments to the physician as necessary.
  • Conduct thorough assessments on each patient and perform regular reassessments as per established protocols. Ensure accurate and timely quality improvement scoring.
  • Assess and address patient pain that may hinder optimal function and participation in rehabilitation, implementing suitable interventions and contacting physicians when necessary.
  • Develop and update individualized plans of care for physical therapy.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in the relevant state.
  • Experience in inpatient rehabilitation preferred.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification.

The salary range for this position is $43.00 to $56.00 per hour. While we aim to compensate within this range, certain circumstances may allow for variations.
