Diesel Fleet Mechanic/Technician

We're one of the largest fleets on the road, with over 13,000 trucks, 60,000 trailers, 12,000 company drivers, and over 700 Fleet Technicians. We're dedicated to those who keep our trucks moving and we need skilled Diesel Mechanics to be the backbone of our fleet.
Key Responsibilities:- Complete quality preventative maintenance inspections and repairs on all company-owned equipment, including tractors, trailers, refrigerated units, and support equipment.
- Perform preventative maintenance on all equipment to appropriate specifications (OEM, DOT, Swift, etc.).
- Inspect, analyze, troubleshoot, diagnose, and perform minor and/or complex repairs for all equipment.
- Disassemble, repair, and reassemble heavy truck and trailer components.
- Perform tire maintenance, including repairs, failure analysis, coding, and identification.
- Knowledge of vehicle systems and basic vehicle maintenance.
- High School or combination of training and/or experience required.
- Demonstrated/proven superior customer service skills.
- Ability to use and learn various diagnostic software used on tractor/trailers.
- Must possess computer skills.
