Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Mobile Diesel Mechanic to join our team at Velocity Vehicle Group. As a Mobile Diesel Mechanic, you will play a critical role in the maintenance and repair of our diverse fleet of vehicles, ensuring their optimal functionality, safety, and performance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid checks to ensure the fleet's overall health.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot complex vehicle issues using diagnostic equipment and tools.
  • Repair or replace faulty components, including brakes, suspension systems, and electrical systems.
  • Document all maintenance and repairs in electronic databases or maintenance software.
  • Collaborate with other technicians and supervisors to share knowledge and solve problems.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent; vocational or technical training in automotive/diesel technology is preferred.
  • DOT certifications preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience as an automotive/Diesel technician or in a similar role.
  • Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical, and electronic vehicle issues.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
