As a Diesel Mechanic/Technician I, you will be responsible for performing preventative maintenance and repairs on a variety of heavy-duty diesel equipment, including trucks and trailers. You will work independently and as part of a team to diagnose and repair complex mechanical issues, and ensure that all vehicles are maintained in a safe and reliable condition.
Key Responsibilities- Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes and tire rotations
- Diagnose and repair complex mechanical issues, including engine, transmission, and brake problems
- Use specialized tools and equipment to diagnose and repair vehicles
- Work with other technicians and mechanics to complete repairs and maintenance tasks
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- 6 years of experience in heavy-duty diesel repair and maintenance
- High school diploma or equivalent required; vocational or technical certification in vehicle repair preferred
- ASE certification in diesel engine repair and maintenance
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
