About the Job

Penske Truck Leasing is seeking an experienced Diesel Mechanic/Technician to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing preventative maintenance and repairs on our fleet of vehicles.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake pad replacements
  • Diagnose and repair complex mechanical issues with diesel engines, transmissions, and other vehicle systems
  • Work independently and as part of a team to complete repairs and maintenance tasks
  • Use advanced diagnostic tools and technologies to troubleshoot and repair complex issues
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest industry developments and technologies through ongoing training and education
Requirements:
  • 6+ years of experience in diesel mechanics or a related field
  • ASE certification in diesel mechanics or a related field
  • Valid driver's license and ability to operate a company vehicle
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
