Job Summary

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) is a vital member of our healthcare team, responsible for delivering high-quality patient care in a correctional setting. As a LPN, you will work under the clinical guidance of Registered Nurses to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess the physical, psychological, and social dimensions of patients in the healthcare unit and housing units.
  • Develop and implement individual treatment programs in collaboration with Registered Nurses, physicians, and correctional officers.
  • Administer medications and interventions as directed by healthcare providers.
  • Document patient encounters, responses, and effectiveness of care.
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment in the healthcare unit and housing units.
  • Collaborate with the nursing care and treatment team to provide comprehensive patient care.
Requirements
  • Current, unrestricted STATE Licensed Practical Nursing (LPN) License.
  • Current CPR Certification.
  • Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
  • Minimum of one (1) year of clinical experience; correctional experience preferred.
