Compassionate Nurse for Spinal Care

We are seeking a skilled and empathetic registered nurse to become a vital part of our healthcare team. This position involves providing specialized care for a patient with a significant spinal cord injury, requiring a comprehensive understanding of ventilator-dependent care and the ability to foresee and manage potential clinical challenges.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and coordinate care for a patient with a high-level spinal cord injury, ensuring the effective application of nursing practices and medication protocols.
- Proactively identify and mitigate potential clinical complications related to the patient's condition.
- Assist the patient with daily living activities, including safe transfers to and from bed.
- Maintain precise and detailed patient care documentation while fostering clear communication with other healthcare professionals.
- Collaborate with team members to guarantee continuous care coverage.
- Exhibit professionalism consistently, demonstrating appropriate conduct and communication skills.
- Potential opportunities for professional growth and travel may be available.
Qualifications:
- Must hold a valid nursing license (RN or LVN) with experience in managing care for immobile patients and those with spinal cord injuries.
- Strong communication and clinical skills are essential.
- Demonstrated initiative in addressing patient care requirements.
- Capability to perform safe and effective patient transfers.
- Awareness of potential clinical complications and future healthcare needs.
- Willingness to travel occasionally for professional development purposes.
- Excellent assessment abilities and clinical knowledge.

Work Schedule: 12-hour shifts are available. A valid nursing license and driver’s license are required.
