Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned executive to lead our Telecommunications Operations team. As Executive Vice President of Telecommunications Operations, you will be responsible for overseeing the strategic direction and day-to-day operations of our telecommunications construction business.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Leadership & Strategy: Develop and execute strategies aligned with business objectives, ensuring success in safety, people management, financial goals, and customer satisfaction.
  • Team Oversight: Manage senior operations managers, including overseeing compensation, performance, quality, and safety.
  • Project Management: Ensure the team adheres to project management standards, including safety, customer relations, production, financial performance, and timely completion.
  • Financial Management: Oversee division financials, including WIP, job cost reviews, cash flow, expenses, and profit/loss management.
  • Solution-Oriented Guidance: Provide support and guidance on profit and loss impacts and decision-making for operation leaders.
  • System Utilization: Fully engage with internal systems such as NetSuite, UKG, Coupa, and others.
  • Customer Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and new customers.
  • Safety Culture: Uphold a strong safety culture and lead by example, promoting a ZERO-accident philosophy.
  • Culture & Engagement: Foster a culture of community, wellness, development, and inclusion.
  • Business Acumen: Demonstrate strong business and financial acumen, taking ownership of team success, including development, engagement, and performance management.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 10 years of utility construction experience with strong technical knowledge of wireline installations in telecommunications.
  • At least 6 years of multi-market business leadership experience with full P&L ownership.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
