Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Territory Sales Manager to join our team at Van Wall Equipment. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for developing and executing a marketing plan to achieve and maintain the desired market position within your assigned territory.

Your primary focus will be on making sales, rentals, and support calls, as well as presenting our products and services to customers. You will also be responsible for maintaining open and effective communication with all parties to increase sales and profits.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the industrial equipment market and be able to effectively identify, communicate, and resolve customer problems and operational issues.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute a marketing plan to achieve and maintain the desired market position within your assigned territory.
  • Make sales, rentals, and support calls to customers, and present our products and services to increase sales and profits.
  • Maintain open and effective communication with all parties to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Identify, communicate, and resolve customer problems and operational issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Work closely with the sales team to ensure alignment and achieve sales goals.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with customers, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure a strong network of contacts.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activity to ensure our products and services remain competitive.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management to ensure the success of the sales team.
Position Qualifications
  • Strong customer relationship and work ethic.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to make common sense decisions.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • High School Degree or equivalent required; College Degree preferred.
  • 2+ years of proven sales experience in the industrial equipment industry.
  • Basic knowledge and abilities of Microsoft Office products.
