Position Overview: The Patient Care Technician (PCT) is responsible for delivering care to both adult and pediatric patients, including neonates, children, and adolescents.
The PCT will provide direct patient support in a clinical environment under the close supervision and guidance of nursing staff. Responsibilities include performing assigned tasks efficiently, safely, and in a timely manner.
Position Requirements:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred, with the ability to read, write, and understand medical terminology.
- Experience: Previous experience in a healthcare setting is preferred.
- Certifications/Licenses: BLS certification is required prior to the first clinical shift, and must be issued by the American Heart Association.
