Pharmacy Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Certified Pharmacy Technician to join our team at Walgreens. As a key member of our pharmacy team, you will assist pharmacists in the practice of pharmacy, ensuring accurate and efficient dispensing of medications to our customers.
Responsibilities- Assist pharmacists in the preparation and dispensing of medications, including counting, measuring, and weighing medications.
- Process prescriptions, including verifying patient information and medication orders.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of patient information and medication dispensing.
- Provide exceptional customer service, answering questions and addressing concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
- Assist with inventory management, including ordering, unpacking, and storing pharmaceuticals.
- Participate in ongoing training and education to maintain certification and stay up-to-date on the latest pharmacy practices and regulations.
- Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
- Requires willingness to work flexible schedule, including evening and weekend hours.
- Prefer six months of experience in a retail environment.
- Prefer good math skills and computer skills.
