Job Summary

Honda Aircraft Company is seeking a highly skilled Production Planning Administrator to join our team. As a key member of our production planning team, you will be responsible for coordinating production and maintenance repair and overhaul (MRO) planning and control workflows between internal and external organizations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to optimize MRO and production planning workflows
  • Setup, run, and confirm material requirements planning (MRP) and issue schedules for all MRO and production planning activities
  • Develop and implement strategies to minimize part inventory and align with company financial objectives
  • Coordinate with purchasing and manufacturing teams to ensure accurate parts status and build requirements
  • Reconcile purchase orders, part consumption reports, and invoices with the Joint Venture Accounting Department
  • Maintain planning-related IT system control, including shop order and work order entry and release, routing maintenance, and operation sequencing
  • Chair regular production and MRO planning meetings with purchasing, vendors, and joint venture partners
  • Develop and present MRO shop visit demand and shop capacity ability to ensure safe customer aircraft engine operation
  • Monitor service bulletin (SB) and aviation directive (AD) impact and compliance to provide direction to the MRO shop and Joint Venture
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Course study including planning theory and inventory management a plus
  • 5 years of experience in manufacturing or production management/planning
  • Maintenance and repair shop experience considered an asset
  • ERP and Master Scheduling experience preferred
Working Conditions
  • Climate-controlled office environment
  • Possibility of up to 20% remote work
  • The performance of this position may occasionally require exposure to the manufacturing areas where under certain conditions require the use of personal protective equipment
  • Some travel may be required but limited to US domestic
