Key Responsibilities
  • Support daily operations of departments at Women & Infants Hospital
  • Assist in maintaining department focus on established goals
  • Provide leadership assistance to ensure departmental objectives are met
  • Collaborate with hospital staff, physicians, patients, families, and post-acute providers
  • Problem solve in a proactive and creative manner using sound judgment based on factual information and clinical knowledge
  • Lead and actively participate in multidisciplinary teams
  • Work independently and within a team structure
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of regulatory, Medicare, Medicaid, and third-party payer compliance requirements
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing or related field
  • Four years of acute care hospital environment experience
  • Care Management experience
  • Current RN License in Rhode Island
  • Certification in Care Management, CCM or ACM
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Excellent leadership skills and supervisory experience
  • Ability to establish priorities, meet deadlines, and maintain productivity
