Director of Global Engagement

Georgia Southern University is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Global Engagement to lead the development, administration, and evaluation of comprehensive international programs. The successful candidate will provide overall leadership and vision for the Office of Global Engagement, directing and managing operations, programs, and personnel.
Key Responsibilities:- Oversee compliance with federal and state regulations for operating F and J nonimmigrant programs.
- Develop and implement strategic international partnerships and MOUs to raise the profile of the institution abroad.
- Manage budgets, including G&E, foundation, and agency accounts.
- Disseminate policies and procedures for internationalization activity to guide on-campus units.
- Supervise the development and operation of short-term and full semester academic study abroad and exchange programming.
- Master's degree.
- Three or more years of related work experience, including supervisory experience.
- Experience with large-scale international programming and working in academic support, student instruction, or student success in higher education.
- Certifications and licenses.
- Experience with restructuring and managing organizational change.
Georgia Southern University offers a competitive salary range of $75,000 - $80,000, paid on a monthly basis. This is an exempt position.
