Key Responsibilities
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and direct a team of service technicians, providing guidance and support to ensure they have the necessary tools and resources to perform their duties effectively.
  • Service Operations: Perform and supervise service operations, including startup, service, and repair of industrial generators and related equipment.
  • Technical Support: Provide first-point-of-contact technical support for assigned technicians, including troubleshooting, emergency repair assistance, and parts delivery.
  • Performance Evaluation: Evaluate the performance of assigned service technicians, recommending training enhancements and coaching to improve technical knowledge and overall performance.
  • Quality Control: Work with the Technical Service Manager to execute the quality control program for National Power, ensuring targets are achieved through proper documentation.
  • Customer Satisfaction: Measure, review, and maintain superior customer satisfaction levels, resolving customer concerns as necessary.
  • Continuous Improvement: Drive and promote continuous improvement of field operations, implementing quality procedures and best practices.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Experience: Generac Master Technician certification and training certification required.
  • Skills: High level of expertise with switchgear, positive attitude, strong customer service skills, ability to manage a team of technicians, fluency in written and spoken English, and ability to read and interpret documents.
