Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage a team of tax accountants to ensure timely and accurate tax preparation and review
  • Prepare and review federal and state tax returns for individuals, partnerships, and corporations
  • Provide tax planning and consulting services to clients to minimize tax liabilities and maximize tax savings
  • Research and analyze tax issues and provide recommendations to clients
  • Manage client relationships and communicate with clients regarding tax matters
  • Assist with tax audits and other tax-related matters
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
  • CPA certification required
  • 5+ years of experience in tax preparation and planning for individuals, partnerships, and corporations
  • 2+ years of experience in people management
  • Strong knowledge of federal and state tax laws and regulations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience with tax software, such as ProSystem fx Tax or similar programs
