This role involves meticulous evaluations of energy incentive applications for eligibility, finalizing applications, managing payments, and offering inbound and outbound assistance to applicants and program participants via phone and online chat, alongside other administrative support for our utility partners and their clientele. The daily responsibilities for this position necessitate a strong focus on incoming and repetitive data while maintaining a keen attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Engage in non-scripted customer interactions via phone, email, and chat applications.
  • Conduct professional outreach to clients.
  • Assist customers with inquiries regarding energy applications and program details.
  • Perform additional administrative tasks as required.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • High school diploma.
  • 2+ years of professional work experience.
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and other MS Office Suite applications for 2+ years.
  • Ability to pass a background check.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in business processing or back-office operations is strongly preferred.
  • Capability to accurately process applications in a highly repetitive environment.
  • Prior experience in sales or customer service is advantageous.
  • Strong computer skills, including data entry with high accuracy and speed, as well as database navigation.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to maintain a high energy level, positive attitude, and enthusiasm while collaborating with team members and customers.
  • Experience working with a diverse range of program participants, including homeowners and contractors, to troubleshoot application requirements.
  • Proficient in identifying, defining, and resolving issues promptly, gathering and analyzing information skillfully, and developing alternative solutions.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Strong organizational and analytical capabilities.
  • Typing speed of 45 to 50 words per minute is preferred.
  • Team-oriented with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, including courtesy, professionalism, and a cooperative attitude.
  • Flexibility to manage multiple priorities and work limited overtime as needed.
