Position Profile

Responsibilities of the Customer Service Representative:

- Provide assistance to clients by delivering product and service information, ensuring the success of customer projects through collaboration with Sales, Production, and Procurement.

- Engage and retain clients by addressing inquiries regarding products and services, while recommending alternative options as necessary.

- Establish customer accounts by accurately recording account details and processing client orders.

- Maintain up-to-date customer records by revising account information as needed.

- Address product or service concerns by clarifying customer requests and working with Sales, Production, and Procurement to identify the root cause of issues, proposing effective solutions, and following up to ensure satisfaction.

- Manage financial accounts by processing customer payments and adjustments.

- Collaborate with Sales, Procurement, and Production to recommend potential products or services to management based on customer insights and needs.

- Generate product or service reports by collecting and analyzing customer data.

- Contribute to team objectives by achieving related results as required.

Work Hours

This role is hybrid, requiring a blend of remote work and in-office assignments within the Customer Service function. Flexibility to cover West Coast hours is expected.

Required Skills

- Strong knowledge of leather is highly preferred.

- Familiarity with the Architectural and Design industry.

- Orientation towards Customer Service and Success.

- Quality focus and problem-solving abilities.

- Proficient documentation and email communication skills.

- Effective phone and listening skills.

- Ability to analyze information.

- Capacity for multitasking.

Required Experience

- High School Diploma or College degree.

- Proficient in MS Office and Oracle.

- Previous experience in the leather industry is preferred.
