We are seeking an experienced Equipment Coordinator to join our team at Apex Systems. This role will involve coordinating and managing equipment assets, ensuring they are properly maintained, calibrated, and certified.
Key Responsibilities:
- Asset Management: Organize and coordinate equipment calibration and certification events, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Procurement: Act as a liaison between users and the contracts team, gathering information for quote requests and submitting purchase orders.
- Offsite Storage Requests: Track and coordinate the transport and delivery of equipment to and from offsite storage, ensuring timely and efficient service.
- Standard Operating Procedures: Create, standardize, and refine procedures for equipment moves, commissioning, and decommissioning.
- Vendor Management: Manage external vendors for equipment calibrations, trainings, and corrective maintenance.
- Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams, including Facilities and Workplace Planning, to ensure equipment deliveries are on schedule and special crating/packaging is facilitated.
Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience in equipment coordination or asset management.
- CMMS experience, preferably with eMaint.
- Mechanical intuition and hands-on experience.
- Data management and communication skills, including Excel, email, and phone.
- Project planning and management skills.
